The Laubach polish spray for violin, viola and cello has been developed to complement the proven Rosin remover. The Laubach polish spray is made from natural ingredients: oil and beeswax, which is excellently suited to cleaning and caring for delicate string instruments surfaces without creating a new dirt-attracting layer. Unlike the Laubach rosin deep cleaner for stringed instruments and bows, which is mainly used for removing stubborn dirt deposits, the Laubach polish spray can be applied on a more frequent basis. Laubach Violin Cleaner - polish is a mild liquid cleaner suitable for all types of varnish, especially traditional varnishes on old instruments.
Shake the bottle and apply a small amount with an absorbant cloth before rubbing with a clean cloth until dry.

I just used my new Laubach cleaner and polish for the first time. It worked well, especially with the handy dandy polishing cloths. One I will keep with the bottles for next tim's polishing session. The other I will keep in my case to use on a daily basis. I used my own rag for applying the cleaner. I have always used the Hill product before and I have to say the smell of the Laubach varnish cleaner is much more agreeable. My violin has a very nice shine to it.

A great product, has made both my violin and my viola shine like never before. Both of them being 100+ years old. But the only bad I can say about it is the slightly odd smell. It's almost orange but also sweet and strong

Ive used this Laubach cleaner for about 8 years now on two old (>100yrs) French violins. It is very kind to the varnish and brings out the wood beautifully.
I also use this on bow sticks, again I have a very old bow, as well as some modern ones and even a carbon fibre stick. It works well on all of them and brings them all up to a lovely finish.

This cleaner for the my of a old violin is gentle and removes built up rosin very well. It doesn't have a harsh/overpowering chemical smell and is easy to apply. Highly recommended.

It is something that every string player needs. It is a good product. I especially like the nice touch and smell it leaves to the instrument, particularly to the neck and fingerboard. Important to shake before use.
